WPP has acquired US mobile app developer ArcTouch Inc, which has developed smartphone and tablet computer apps for the likes of Audi, CBS, Yahoo and Saleforce.
ArcTouch, which has offices in San Francisco and Florianopolis, Brazil, will become part of WPP’s Grey marketing communications agency. The deal was completed for an undisclosed sum. The firm, which designs apps for telephones, tablets, wearable devices, televisions, homes and cars, made gross revenues of roughly $14m in calendar 2015.
