Research Partnership, a leading global healthcare market research and insights company has been acquired by Ashfield. The company will become part of Ashfield’s solution-oriented advisory and consulting division, Ashfield Advisory.
In April, the Brighton-based healthcare specialist was acquired by FTSE 250-listed healthcare outsourcer UDG Healthcare, becoming part of UDG’s Ashfield Healthcare Communications arm and ending Pegasus’ 24-year existence as an independent firm.

Shares in UDG Healthcare jumped about 6pc at one stage yesterday after the company said that revenue had risen 5pc to €2.1bn in the financial year to the end of September, while adjusted operating profit rose 9pc to €102.6m. The group was spurred by its Ashfield and Sharp Packaging divisions.
