Sports and entertainment marketing agency CSM, a division of Chime Communications, has announced that Alan Pascoe is to step down from his role as president.
A former Olympic silver medal-winning hurdler, Pascoe previously served as executive chairman of CSM before standing down from the role last year and handing responsibilities to Lord Sebastian Coe. Pascoe also acted as vice-chairman of London’s successful bid for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
He will continue to work with the CSM group of companies as a consultant, offering strategic support across the sports and events landscape. He will also work on a number of projects on his own.
“The time is perfect for me to step down now and take a bit of a back seat,” Pascoe said. “I am both very proud and delighted that I am leaving the company in the capable hands of Seb and the talented management team that we have put in place, who can lead by example and drive the business forward, both domestically and globally.”
