The trio behind agency MHP Health Mandate has reunited to create new London-based health policy and communications consultancy Incisive Health.
Mike Birtwistle, Bill Morgan and Sarah Winstone are the founding partners of the new consultancy, which, a month after launch, is “averaging two project wins a week and securing contracts with high profile pharmaceutical companies, charities and health professional bodies”.
The new agency aims to do things differently. According to Winstone, who was deputy head at MHP Health Mandate, “it’s clear that the old model of healthcare agency no longer works”.
She added: “Contact without the right message, substance or strategy is pointless.” Among the promises the team made to their existing and potential clients were “to bring solutions, not problems”, “to focus on big strategy and detailed execution” and “to add value, not incur hours”.
“We’re proud and delighted to have some of the biggest names in healthcare as our clients already.
We will be working our hardest to reward their trust with insightful, clever, creative, incisive policy and communications that get great results,” Winstone said.
The Incisive team currently numbers five, including its three founders, but Birtwistle expects it to grow “fairly rapidly”. “We are recruiting at all levels. If talented and motivated candidates want to get in at the start of the new force in health policy and communications, they should get in touch,” he told PMLiVE.
