The company behind the antiques industry’s “bible” is working on a deal to be sold to private equity group ECI.
ATG Media, the parent of Antiques Trade Gazette, is partly owned by Mobeus Equity Partners. The publication is considered an important source of information for those in the field of antiques, such as Fiona Bruce, presenter of the Antiques Roadshow.
The company has expanded from a magazine to an online marketplace for art and antiques and has branched into auctions for agricultural equipment.
