Munich, Bielefeld – 6 December 2022: the internationally active event organiser Easyfairs has announced the acquisition of the KUTENO trade fair in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, thus strengthening its portfolio of events in the plastics industry. The new partnership between the current organiser of KUTENO and Easyfairs secures the further expansion of the event for the future while maintaining its reputation for high quality.
“KUTENO is a success story. We will write the next chapters leveraging the experience of Easyfairs, our advanced technology platform and the synergies within the Easyfairs portfolio,” emphasises Roland Brand, Managing Director of Easyfairs DACH Region.
No stranger to the industry
A year ago, Easyfairs already acquired KPA – Kunststoff Produkte Aktuell – in Ulm. With the further acquisition of KUTENO, Easyfairs is once again bringing together what belongs together: KUTENO and KPA, two trade fairs that are positioned at different points in the plastics value chain and share a similar concept as well as overlapping exhibitors and partners.
From the point of view of Horst Rudolph, Managing Director of KUTENO GmbH and co-founder of KUTENO and KPA, the cooperation is the logical next step in the development of the trade fair: “KUTENO can be optimally expanded by working together with a strong and innovative partner like Easyfairs,” he says.
As Head of Cluster, Babette Bell and her team will be in charge of both KUTENO and KPA-Kunststoff Produkte Aktuell. “Easyfairs will continue to expand and strategically develop the strengths of KUTENO with Horst Rudolph, focusing especially on its proximity to industry and the high level of service provided by the event,” she says.
Easyfairs pursues clear strategic goals
The acquisition of KUTENO strengthens Easyfairs’ portfolio for industrial trade shows. It underlines the Group’s growth course and the expansion of its business in the DACH region. In addition to KUTENO and KPA, Easyfairs has acquired other regional trade fairs such as the All About Automation series and FMB Zuliefermesse Maschinenbau. In addition to these acquisitions, Easyfairs has continuously expanded the product portfolio through various new launches. Easyfairs organises more than 20 trade fairs annually in the DACH region.
“Our events fulfill a great need in the market. They are excellent networking platforms and working environments that set a clear focus and serve regional markets in a sustainable fashion. The all-inclusive packages with reusable stands guarantee our customers a professional trade show presence with maximum return on their time and investment, while minimising environmental impact. And our advanced digital tools also simplify the process of capturing leads,” Roland Brand concludes.
