The social media giant’s digital ad revenue is set to break the billion pound barrier for the first time this year to £1.19bn, a year-on-year increase of 31%. In eMarketer’s previous forecast in February, Facebook’s digital ad revenue was expected to grow by 26%.
In 2017, eMarketer has forecast digital adspend on Facebook to grow by 23% to £1.46bn and by another 19% in 2018 to £1.73bn.
